Making a Text Edit in Elementor

  1. Once Elementor loads, you'll see your page on the right and an editing panel on the left

  2. Click directly on the piece of text you want to change – it will be outlined to show it's selected, and the left-hand panel will switch to show that element's settings

  3. Click into the text and type your changes directly on the page (or edit it in the “Content”/“Text” field in the left-hand panel)

  4. When you're happy with the change, click the Publish button at the top of the right-hand panel

Good Habits in Elementor

  • Only change the words – avoid dragging, resizing, deleting, or duplicating any boxes or sections

  • Always click Update before closing the tab, or your changes will be lost

  • Elementor keeps a history of changes – if something looks wrong, use the History icon (clock icon, top left of the editor) to step back, rather than trying to rebuild it

💡 TIP

When in doubt, don't guess. A quick message to us is faster – and safer – than trying to undo a layout change.
